Cindy Harris Bio

I have been an entrepreneur and self-employed for over two decades, accumulating more than 40 years of experience in managerial roles and team building. As a licensed insurance agent in the State of Florida for 21 years, I have honed my skills in various fields, including over 30 years of expertise in human resources. Additionally, my background encompasses accounting, recruiting, technical writing, paralegal work, and investigative research.

On a personal note, I am fortunate to have a loving and supportive husband, a beautiful daughter, and three wonderful stepchildren. Together, we are blessed with eleven exceptional grandchildren. Growing up on a small farm, my parents taught me the importance of “loving thy neighbor” and being a good neighbor. They instilled in me a deep respect for the outdoors and for the gifts nature provides. From an early age, I learned that hard work brings rewards, and these values have stayed with me throughout my life.

I attended Warner Christian Academy through 10th grade before graduating from New Smyrna Beach Senior High School. My first job was as a salesperson at a clothing store in Volusia Mall at just fifteen years old, and I quickly worked my way up to managing the store by the time I turned sixteen. It’s been hard work, proven ability, and unwavering dedication that have brought me to where I am today.
