Priorities
FLOODING:
Property owners have the right to develop their land. These rights also come with personal responsibility and respect for the neighbors. We must make better choices to prevent flooding in Volusia by enforcing and improving policies within our control.
INFRASTRUCTURE:
It is essential to proactively retrofit established areas affected by flooding to protect our communities and personal investments, while improving resilience against future challenges.
PROTECT OUR WATER SOURCES:
The preservation of water resources is crucial for the well-being of our communities and the sustainability of our environment. Continue to promote Volusia Forever forest and farmland conservation initiatives. Ensure our water resources are safeguarded for future generations by working with cities to improve their infrastructure needs.
KEY INITIATIVES
It is imperative to remove barriers that exist between the public and the government. My objective is to serve as the liaison for District 3, effectively representing the voice of our community within the Council. I am dedicated to acting in the best interests of the residents and business owners, ensuring representation that has been missing far too long.
TRANSPARENCY
ACCOUNTABILITY
The commitment to advocate for the flood victims of District 3 is essential to ensure they are treated fairly, adequately protected, and consistently informed about the actions taken by County government.
Collaborate with the public, other agencies, municipalities, staff, council members, and private businesses to enhance relationships with plans that work in the best interest of all. Maintain advocacy for flood victims to ensure the infrastructure is secure and retrofitted before future planned development.
STEWARDSHIP
STANDARD OF LIVING AND ECONOMIC WELL-BEING
Expand high-paying job opportunities in the medical, aeronautical, science, and manufacturing sectors by leveraging the existing businesses in Volusia County. We have state-of-the-art facilities that need our support and collaboration. Strengthen corporate partnerships by organizing roundtable meetings with leaders from top businesses to generate ideas for addressing some of Volusia County's most pressing challenges.
